Are You Engaging Your Customer Enough?




Success of your brand depends on your customers before anything else. Whatever you do in social media or in mainstream media are aimed at your customers. Customers’ verdict on your brand always has the final say. This means you always need to look for customer feedback to take your brand’s success in a new level. But feedback is not only the mode of engagement you are looking into when we are talking about absolute success of your brand. You need constant activities to keep your brand in the vicinity of all the customers that you are targeting.

This means you need a compact and comprehensive planning for your customer to deliver the brand’s message. Interacting with your customers on a regular basis will give both of you a chance to know each other and develop a feeling of mutual understanding. This is like a relationship and you are continuously dating each other to know more and explore more.  Customers by nature want to know more about the brand and it can be deliver in many ways to them. More you tell about thebrand more the customers feel the attachment with it. Once a customer or all customers are attached to your brand you create huge loyal fan following.

Generally, people tend to switch brands when they are not getting anything worth in it. Quality and service obviously the two main reasons but there are many more that explain their actions. It’s the amount of engagement they are getting from one particular brand. Engaging your customers does not always mean direct interaction.  You need to provide them the content in different forms in different media platforms to attract their attention as well as to keep them engaged.

While distributing your content for different media that supports different formats to deliver the message, you need to be very precise while addressing and engaging your customers. There are few more factors that one must take care while engaging customers

a) Keep the message simple
b) Don’t give false information
c) Present the simple message in an interesting way
d) Use graphics and photographs in support of your message
e) Provide them usable data
f) Ask them to participate
g) Keep changing your message after a certain period of time
h) Do not over explain
i) Try not to repeat the same message in a same day unless you are running an advertisement under a campaign
j) Make different modules of same message for same and different media channels
k) Follow the feedback and the reactions and make changes as per the need
l ) Try to build a brand value while interacting and engaging your customers
m) Your message, interactions and engagement with your customers must possess a positive vibe. Positivity always scores Big in the minds of your customers andearns Big profit for your brand.
