Probably this is the question that every marketing agency including advertising and the digital one is looking to find. The answer is really hard to find. Because people’s minds' are constantly changing they are always looking for something new and something exciting.
So, if you have a new product or service then you must try to present it in a new and exciting way. Remember, you are looking at a mass that can only be influenced if the message touches their minds and hearts i.e. logically and emotionally. Buying decisions are influenced by those to important aspects – Logic and Emotion. If you can devise a communication message that has the ability to hit both the aspects then your brand, product or service is set for super success. Even if you able to strike one of the aspects rightly then also you are going to taste the success, which is not bad too financially speaking.
To retain the brand image, you must try to be in the muscle memory of the people, so that your brand name, service or product can be recalled naturally. If you do a little research then you will find that most of the people avoid literary language and words while creating messages for the masses.
Experts from yesteryears have categorically said that communication message must be simplified as customers don’t have much time to fathom the deepest meaning. They have also said that ‘know your audience’, which is vital for your message creating process. Different segments of audiences have a different level of understanding, be it language or words, which also determines the attention span.
Why do you think, Google has put a ‘Skip Ad’ after 5 or 10 seconds of any ad on Youtube?
Because that is exactly the attention span, people can spare on an ad or message. So, if you want to create an impact, you know how much time you have to turn people towards your favor.
So, be clear with your message. Remove all clutter from your minds and words. If possible use graphics. Why I said, ‘if possible’, because, there are platforms and places where you cannot integrate graphics, photos, and words together. Something, like Google ads, depends heavily on words whereas Facebook prefers fewer texts more graphics. Each platform has its own criteria and each level of the audience has its own demands. So, we can safely say that the creation of balance is needed to reach your target audience but you need to create something different, unique that can strike a chord with your audience.
All you need to do is to find the right words, create meaningful sentences, and blend image or graphics smoothly to complete the package.
Are you ready to create your own mark?
I mean your brand’s mark of course.
Let’s do it then.
