Happy New Year to everybody. Last year taught us a lot. Businesswise. it taught us that one should always prepare for all types of uncertainty. However, online prospects are looking brighter compared to brick and mortar stores. So, what can we expect this year? My 14 years of experience in social and digital media, as well as advertising and branding, have helped me to come up with the following points.
Dealing with the Pandemic
First things first, the pandemic is not over yet and it is still lurking around with a new strain. It means that we have to be doubly alert and be prepare for the future. It is important for entrepreneurs from all sectors to take proper actions.
These actions can be anything depending upon your business but mostly will depend on your consumers' behaviour. Customers have changed their ways because of this pandemic and they are now resisting impulse buying. What can you do to attract them?
1. Add More Value
Unless you add more values to your products or services it will be difficult to influence your customers especially in this situation. So, find a way to add more values, look for greater USP to help your customers understand and embrace your brand.
2 Go Online
Yes, most of you are already doing great when it comes to online presence but it is time to reevaluate and rethink your brand's online presence. There are multiple ways to reinforce your online presence and make a strong impact in the minds of your target consumers, Remember, not all platforms will give you the same result and you need to plan accordingly.
3. Stress in Analytics
The good thing about analytics is that it will give you a thorough report of your customers' activities. Fortunately, almost all online platforms give you various analytics that will help you to assess each and every situation in a proper way so that you can take proper action.
4. Power of Social Media
Not only Facebook or Instagram but other social media platforms like Twitter, Snapchat, Tiktok Youtube also have immence power to influence the decision of the buyers or consumers. All you need to do is to plan and produce right content, highlighting the benefits of the brand.
5. Content Management
Creation of content is important so is the distribution. You need to know how much content you need to create for each individual platform. You need to customize message for each social media or online platforms but at the same time you need to take every precaution so that your brand values and promises remain intact. This means you must have a good content management policy in place,
6 Engage More
Today's customers look for the benefits as well as options to interact with the companies. If you are looking for more growth then try to engage with your customers as much as possible. More you engage with your customers more they trust your brand and more chances of conversions.
These seven points are basic and there will be more which I will discuss in my next blog. Let me know if you want to know more about business growth in this year 2021 through digital marketing. Please leave your opinion or question in the comment section below I will anwer you back ASAP.
